We had a long trip to Okinawa, but were welcomed with a warm reception at Naha Airport. Members of DBEDT, HUOA, Hawaii Okinawa Kyokai and Okinawan Prefecture Government greeted us with flowers and a welcome sign. (10/7/15)

Governor and First Lady each providing remarks at the Study Hawaii education seminar attended by over 150 school administrators,
students, parents and education marketing consultants. Nineteen representatives from fifteen Study Hawaii institutions participated in the mission to Guangdong Province.

Governor and Study Hawaii delegation meeting with Dr. Liu Ming, President of South China Normal University and senior administrators
from the university. South China Normal University traveled to Hawaii in September 2014 to sign Memorandum of Understandings with the
University of Hawaii System and Kapiolani Community College and a Memorandum of Agreement with University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business.
